Epic Pro 1.2.4 Release Notes

Upgrade Notes:
  • The calculation method for edge normal vector directions in the template editing tool has changed, requiring recalculation of edge normal vectors.

  • Some function interfaces in the Extension have been modified, necessitating re-adaptation of the Extension.

  • A new 000 error code has been added to communication return commands, requiring changes to the code for receiving information on the robot or PLC side.

The following enhancements are introduced in Epic Pro 1.2.4:

  • Interaction Experience Optimization

    • Pose data now supports copy-paste functionality: global pose data can be copied and pasted.

    • Project plan homepage interaction enhancements: double-click to enter a plan, and support for batch operations.

    • Model selection interface optimization: improved list layout.

    • Epic Pro manual window display optimization: opens in a separate, standalone window.

  • Enhanced Scene Configuration

    • Improved layout and interaction.

    • "Initial Planning Point" has been moved to "Grasp Configuration - Motion Planning."

  • Enhanced Template Matching Editing Tool

    • Added support for creating templates via photo capture when entering the template library from the grasp configuration page.

    • Enabled drag-and-drop adjustment for point cloud and collision model poses.

    • Supported transformation of the model coordinate system origin.

    • Visualized grasp point status within the template library.

  • Enhanced Robot Library

    • Robots are now sorted alphabetically by brand.

    • Optimized robot package storage to reduce installation package size.

    • Enabled public network updates for the robot library.

  • Other Enhancements

Bug Fixes

The following bugs were resolved in Epic Pro 1.2.4:

  • Fixed a bug where the software incorrectly parsed the image width and height information for virtual data from pixel series cameras.
