Modify Camera IP
Click the icon in the Modify IP column to open the Modify Camera IP window. In this window, you can set the camera IP to either Dynamic IP (DHCP) or Static IP.
To prevent the router from reassigning the camera’s IP address in the event of a power outage or other abnormal situations, and to ensure stable camera usage, it is recommended to assign a static IP to the camera.
Dynamic IP (DHCP)
-
Description
A dynamic IP address is assigned to the camera by a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server. Each time the camera connects to the network, the DHCP server assigns an available IP address from its pool. This IP address may change with each connection.

Launch the Epic Eye SearchTool.
-
Click the
icon in the Modify IP column.

Description
A static IP address is a fixed IP address that is manually assigned and configured. When setting a static IP, ensure that the camera’s IP address is unique.

Check whether the camera IP and the industrial PC IP are on the same subnet
-
Camera IP: The default factory static IP of the camera is
192.168.33.66
. If the camera is connected to the industrial PC via a router and the router’s IP address subnet is not 192.168.33.X, you can either change the router’s IP address to the 192.168.33.X subnet in the router management interface, or change the camera’s IP subnet to match the router. -
Industrial PC IP: The industrial PC uses dynamic IP assignment by default. To set the industrial PC IP to the same subnet as the camera’s static IP, refer to: How to Set the Industrial PC IP.

, set the PC to192.168.33.X
, whereX
is 2~254 and does not conflict with other devices on the network). -
