Use

Click the operations editin the Modify IP section to open the window, where you can set the camera IP to Dynamic IP (DHCP) or Static IP.

In order to prevent the router from reallocating the IP address to the camera in case of power outage or other abnormal conditions and ensure the stable use of the camera, it is recommended to add a static IP to the camera.

Dynamic IP(DHCP)

  • Description

A dynamic IP address is an IP address dynamically assigned to the camera by a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server. Each time the camera connects to the network, the DHCP server assigns an IP address to the camera from a pool of available IP addresses. This IP address may change each time the camera is connected.

  • Operation

Set the IP Assignment Type to DHCP, click Confirm, and wait for the camera IP assignment type to be successfully modified.

Static IP

  • Description

A static IP address is a fixed IP address that is manually assigned and configured. When setting a static IP, ensure that the camera’s IP address is unique.

  • Operation

Set the IP Assignment Type to Static IP, enter the IP address and subnet mask, click Confirm, and wait for the camera IP assignment type to be successfully modified.
